COOL CARS-Lamborghini Gallardo Italian State Police, this Gallardo was donated to the Italian State Police (Polizia di Stato) by Automobili Lamborghini. Wll be used in south Italy by traffic police (Polizia Stradale). Im Sure any Cop would be up for a high speed pursuit, in a 500 horsepower 190 mph V-10 exotic. The car is specially equipped with an apparatus to transmit and receive information plus images in critical situations such as road traffic accidents, fires and other disaster situations. It will also be fitted with the Italian police provida system which records traffic violations and sends images in real-time, and has a direct connection to the police database as well as the Elsag Autodetector system for number plate recognition. The car will also be used for the transportation of plasma and human organs for transplant. Along with some other features helpful to the Italian authorities. As well as the Gallardo's permanent four-wheel drive to keep it in use in winter months.
